課程概述 |
本課程為「初級二」，為初級一的延續，內容涵蓋重要的基礎中文語法。經本學期的學習過後，學生應能習得200條新生詞。 |

課程目標 |
應能熟練使用「了」、「介詞如跟給替用對」、「時間詞」、中文基本句構...等。聽說方面，應能回應以下情境，如「日常時間表」、「旅行計畫」、「點餐」、「問路」、「看醫生」…。讀寫方面應能認讀或寫出已學習過的生詞。
This class aims to train students’ Chinese capabilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing in the basic level. The topics covers from asking for directions, talking about your travel plan and itinerary, introducing your country, arranging a doctor appointment, to dining culture and how to order meals and other basic survival skills. In the end of the semester, students should have good command of basic Chinese level and be ready to join basic intermediate Chinese class. |

課程要求 |
1. This class focuses equally on listening, speaking, reading and writing. Students should try to perform their best of each capability.
2. Participation and attendance is very important.
3. Students should also try to use their acquired vocabularies and grammars in class discussion and activities.
4. There are daily dictation quizzes in the first 15 minutes of the class. No make up test.
5. Teacher only uses the target language “Chinese” in the class. Students should always speak Chinese when they are in the class.

出席與上課表現(Attendance and Performance ) |

Attendance 50%, Performance 50%
1. Absences within 4 hrs due to serious sick or important issues are acceptable. Students should email the teacher in advance, or hand in your doctor notes when you come back to the class.
2. Every one hour absence will result in 2 points deduction.
3. Students are encouraged to practice more in Chinese in the class.
4. Every student has the equal rights in the class and the most important part is always showing your respect to different cultures, religions, opinions.
5. For a quality learning environment, students are not allowed to use any electronics appliances such as mobile phones, notebooks, pads…etc.
6. For a better learning efficiency, students should be self-motivated learners and always follow lecture’s instruction.

1. There is dictation test in the first 10 minutes of every day class and there is no make up test.
2. There is a review test right after we finish one lesson. The test includes reading, listening comprehension and writing. There is no make up test. |
